Bangla Rock Bands
Growing up in kolkata in the decade of "Bangla RoCk" was aaaah ....(wat the hell) fUCking aWeSum !!!!!!!
Its was(still is) the coolest thing ever.Bangla Rock was our "GoD".
Although the new wave of Bangla Gann was started by Mohiner Ghoraguli wayback in the 70's , it never got the audience nor the recognition it deserved. However the flag was carried on by Chandranbindoo,Krozzwinds,Avilasha ,Paraspathar n numerous other Bangla Bands.
But the Bangla started to fucking Rock when the Genxt of Bangla Gann came into being.Bands like Cactus, Fossils and
Lakkhicahara would change the bangla music scene in Bengal forever.
They brought "Bangla Rock" to Life...with their Distortion Guitars ,Powerful Drum Beats n Bangla lyrics that really (fucking) Rocked.
Songs like "Bisakto Manush" n "Ghurefire tai eki kotha" became anthems of "Bangla Rock" n each n evry para owened a "Bangla Band".
"Bangla Rock"...would be damned if I failed to mention Opar Bangla ....Bands like Miles, LRB
were the first Bangla Rock bands I was exposed to.
We almost imprinted the songs in our brains, lost count of how many times we played the same songs over n over again...still to dis date i xactly rember each n every part in those songs.
I could go on and on taking about my fixation here....anyways
Just wanted to make a tribute to Bangla "Fucking" Rock so here I am
